Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27, eight days after Grand Theft Auto VI launched. For anyone buying into PlayStation this year, that timing is favourable in one specific way: console bundles including a major release are at their most common in this window, and if you need the hardware anyway, a bundle is frequently better value than buying the two separately.

What actually discounts
Console hardware itself rarely moves much on Black Friday — margins are thin and demand is high in November. What moves is the package.
- Bundles. A console packaged with a recent major release is the most common form of real PlayStation value this week.

- First-party accessories. Headsets, charging docks and the like discount more than the console does.

Do not buy another console. Buy the two things that will actually change your next few months:
